Steve Nelson is a practicing city planner with over 30 years of experience at the municipal and county level, in the non-profit sector and in private practice in Pennsylvania, California and New Jersey. His work has included managing community revitalization and open space programs, comprehensive planning, nature-based revitalization planning, resiliency planning, trail planning and demographic analysis. He has a deep understanding of the dynamics of planning at the local level and strategies needed to undertake and implement plans of all types. Steve’s civic interests have included membership on a local planning commission and an environmental advisory council. He is a certified planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners and a certified instructor with the Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Education Institute.
