Let the city lure you into its museums, music venues, markets and neighborhoods. Visit architectural sites that span centuries. Nearby Wissahickon Valley Park with its miles of trails, forests and meadows, is a short bike ride away.
Intern at places like the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Fabric Workshop and Museum, and Taller Puertorriqueño and get involved with organizations that can help connect you to makers and shakers in this big, rambunctious place.

Designing for Philadelphia
As part of an elective studio over spring and summer 2024, Tyler architecture students designed and built prototype structures to inspire stalls for the Southeast Asian Market in FDR Park. As part of the project, they presented their stall designs and models to vendors of the Cambodian Association of Greater Philadelphia.
