BFA in UX / UI Design

Tyler’s new BFA in in User Experience and User Interface Design is STEM designated and fills a growing need for people-centered design professionals. Choose this major and learn to plan, develop and test digital spaces and tools so that they work for the people who use and need them.  

The UX / UI degree program focuses on user behavior and design aesthetics. Your faculty-mentors teach you the skills to design seamless, intuitive experiences for diverse audiences across a variety of platforms and devices.

In our technology-infused world, knowledge of UX / UI design is a major asset in nearly every industry. Adding a minor in user experience and user interface design gives you a competitive edge for top jobs. It’s a good way to expand your career opportunities in fields such as technology, marketing, product development and more.  

No matter your major, this new undergraduate minor in UX / UI design gives you the chance to gain sought-after skills in the rapidly growing field of digital design and user interaction. It’s particularly useful to those majoring in computer science, psychology, communications or business.  

This minor introduces you to essential concepts such as user research, information architecture and interface design. You develop skills for creating intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences. UX / UI Internships 

Tyler doesn’t require you to complete internships to graduate with your degree in user experience and user interface design. However, it’s the best way to hone your professional skills and add important work experience to your professional development. Plus, opportunities abound in this emerging profession, so internship hosts really need your help!
