Fauzia Sadiq Garcia is an Associate Professor of Instruction at Temple University and Curriculum Coordinator of Facilities Management & Architecture Majors.
She is a registered architect, educator and artist harnessing technological advancements to challenge traditional use of materials and construction methods. She has taught architecture studios focused on resilience during extreme heat and drought climate conditions, and studios centered on communities affected by pollution.
Fauzia is principal at Sadiq Garcia Design, a visual arts and design practice that employs various modes of fabrication for custom products and creative design solutions for architectural projects. She has several decades of professional experience working at firms in Atlanta, New York City and Philadelphia on high-profile international projects and award-winning national projects. Fauzia is a Board member for the American Institute of Architects Philadelphia chapter as Director of Education, and Editorial Board member for the AIA Philadelphia Context Journal.
