The exterior of Tyler's architecture building is modern, featuring sleek lines with lots of glass and large windows, giving it an open and contemporary feel. The design blends functionality and aesthetics, allowing natural light to flood the space.

Architecture and Environmental Design Resources 

Tyler’s free-standing, dedicated building features 50,000 square feet just for architecture  and environmental designAED programs. In addition to studios, you get access to both the Architecture Woodshop and Architecture Digital Fabrication Lab — each is staffed with technical service pros to help you. Our Ambler Campus boasts a 187-acre arboretum and a 5,600-square-foot greenhouse.

Urban Workshop

Founded in 2003, the Urban Workshop serves underserved communities and community organizations by creating beautiful, just and sustainable projects. Funded by Temple University’s Office of Research and several other grants, the workshop features collaborations with local architecture firms and other academics.
